Spray bottles and dispensers are bottles that can squirt, spray or mist fluids. A common use for spray bottles is for dispensing cleaners, cosmetics and chemical specialities. Spray bottles are also used to mix dow concentrates with water. Historically, bottles were sprayed with a rubber bulb dispenser the moved a small amount of fluid. In modern bottles, a positive displacement pump is used which acts directly on the fluid. The liquid is drawn up a siphon tube from the bottom of the bottle and forces it through a nozzle. The nozzle may be adjusted to the desired spray, whether it be a stream, mist or dispensing spray.
