This autumn, packaging professionals, designers, brand owners and marketers will be gathering in the London Business Centre to share and collaborate ideas on how to move their products forward.
Packaging Innovation 2012 is taking place on the 4th and 5th of October and the event will cover topics like: sustainability issues, how to engage with consumer emotions and attract how to attract their spend.

One big guest set to be present at the innovation gathering is Kodak. They are expected to be giving a demonstration on the highly interdependent relationship between packaging and then brand owner. The company will be featuring its Kodak FLEXCEL NX Flexographic System, which will be seen in a demonstration of commitment to its customers in the print and packaging industry.

One topic that is expected to be carried through the event is consumers impulse to purchase on point of sale. So, many of the talks and exhibitions held at the event will be based on how a product can catch the eye of the consumer.
Product attention is then the theme that is being carried into the companies that are set to exhibit their ideas at the event. There is a list of specialist printers, OPM Group who will exhibiting on stand B4 and reprographics group Reproflex 3 will be present as well as Kodak and Nilpeter.
In addition to the print and labelling suggestions, Smart Karton's revolutionary packaging solutions, All-Paper Pack, will be show cased. One of the features shown will be a self-sealing box made entirely of corrugated composite board and 100% recycled paper.
Another expected guest at the event is Easypack. They will be demonstrating their environmentally friendly cardboard shredder. The shredder converts excess cardboard into mats that can be used to fill void or as protection for transporting goods.
The event is predicted to be full and buzzing with ideas and inspiration and all companies of all sizes will be attending as well as individuals who are simply interested in doing some personal printing and packaging.
