Multi Colour Process Printing is the reproduction of an image or text in colour instead of black and white or monochrome. Any natural scene or colour photograph can be optically directed into three primary colours: red, blue and yellow. The additive combination of any two primary colours gives rise to a percentage of a secondary colour, for example, blue and yellow yields green, red and blue yields magenta and so on. Secondary colours combined then lead to colours that are considered tertiary. Colour printing is a gentle build up of these colours in order to recreate the wanted images or text.
