Flexible connectors, or continuous flex cables, are cables that connect a piece of machinery to a connection that provides it with power. The cable can carry electricity, gas, oxygen or water. The advantage of a flexible connector as opposed to a fixed connector is that it gives room for manoeuvre, in that if machinery is needed elsewhere or it needs to be turned, this can be accomplished easily enough. These pipes are often made of plastic or rubber with connectors made of aluminium, steel or other metals.
