The sun is shining – the generous, free-swinging parasol MAX cantilever by TUUCI hangs over tables and chairs offering pleasant shade. The flagship product of the company born in Miami provides relaxing hours, even at high temperatures, on large terraces as well as in the garden and offers sun-sheltered places.
The right parasol for every situation: in versatile shapes and variants as well as different sizes the MAX cantilevers can be used in the private garden or for the contract market. With the “single cantilever” version you can choose between a classic square, rectangle or octagonal canopy. Another version named “manta” is a design piece where Dougan Clarke, founder and Chief Designer of TUUCI, was inspired by the elegant up and down movements of the manta ray. These movements are easily recognizable in the shape of this parasol. The result is a harmonic symbiosis of sophisticated design, innovative technology and quality. The durable TUUCI Tuff-skins, made by Sunbrella®, are available in a wide range of colors and allow for individual design.
The MAX cantilever is available in two versions: “Ocean Master” and “Plantation”. The Ocean Master MAX Cantilever is characterized by a corrosion-resistant polished aluminum mast, inspired by sailing yachts. Alternatively, the mast is available with a powder coating in the colors textured bright white, hammered bronze, espresso, and since 2017 also available in sea shell white, ash grey and jet black. The “Plantation” MAX cantilevers have a mast with aluma-TEAK finish – a finish with a natural feel of hardwood combined with the durability of aluminum. The mixture of aluminum and stainless steel, which conveys the gorgeous appearance of hardwood, is specially developed by TUUCI. Due to the special material used in both versions the parasols are weatherproof and usable in the most extreme environments on earth.
A novelty from TUUCI is the mechanically precise “TILT” design function: the canopy can be adapted to individual needs and aligned at different angles. Thus providing, in a horizontal as well as a vertical position, privacy and relaxing shade in any sun path.
Another special technical feature is the “high wind stabilizer” – making sure the MAX cantilever parasols remain stable and sturdy at the strongest winds. This is standard for the larger models and optional for the smaller screens.
