Oxygen and Water Vapour Permeation Analysers
Systech's oxygen permeation and water vapour permeation analysers offer testing of all packaging film, finished package and PET bottles. These permeability analysers offer the widest measurement range in the market with the leading instruments delivering the fastest permeation results available.
In addition, Systech offer a permeation testing service for companies who either don’t have the time or the facilities for their own in-house laboratory. Our temperature and humidity controlled laboratory is able to carry out tests under a wide range of conditions with test results available in tabular or graphical format. The laboratory is compliant with all of the relevant standards.
Oxygen Permeation Analyser - 8700 & 8701
The Systech 8700 & 8701 analysers offer fast and reliable oxygen permeation testing for multiple bottles, packages and films. The range of adaptors provide flexible and versatile testing of up to 11 samples simultaneously by simply switching the bottle platens with optional alternate platens to analyse films, containers, canisters, pouches, bags, closures and more.
Applications include: PET bottles; coated PET bottles; coated bottles for beer, wine etc; pet food pouches; cereal packages; pharmaceutical packaging; fruit juice containers; soft drinks bottles; bottle closures; barrier films.
Oxygen Permeation Analyser – 8000 range
The Systech 8001 is a precise, versatile and easy to operate oxygen permeation analyser. It offers fast permeation results and the widest measuring range in the market. It has precise humidity control and can switch between wet and dry samples with minutes.

Water Vapour Permeation Analyser – 7000 range
Modular system for precision water vapour analysis of packaging film barriers with a measurement range of 0.002-70g/m²/day. Using an exceptionally sensitive and stable P2O5 sensor, it provides absolute moisture measurement with no calibration required. Precision balanced electronics and gas handling subsystems ensure only the highest levels of performance and repeatability available.
Computer controlled temperature and humidity simulate actual or investigative climatic conditions making the 7002 ideal for testing and researching both current and newly formulated packaging film materials.
Calibration can utilise both NIST traceable gases and films for versatility of film to film comparison and reliability of analysis data. Windows® based software and complete control of test parameters, make the 7002 the most precise, flexible, and easy to operate water vapour permeation analyser of its kind.

Headspace Gas Analysers
Systech's headspace gas analyser range provides fast, easy to use, accurate gas analysis of gas flushed food packages and pharmaceutical products. These gas analysers can be used effectively with packages of all sizes and are also available in portable and waterproof versions.

The Gaspace Advance is fast, accurate, and simple to use, yet full of the most advanced features and diagnostics available in MAP headspace analysis. These analysers offer automatic calibration, diagnostics and control providing consistently reliable results and simplicity in operation allowing you to maximise your production efficiency.
The Gaspace Advance Micro offers headspace analysis for low volumes of headspace in applications such as pharmaceutical vials and packaging.
