Security Tape Firm to Bring Jobs to the South West Region, UK

Protectaseal Ltd

Around 15 jobs will be created over the next 12 months as a result of a Bedfordshire security tape manufacturer relocating to Devon.

Protectaseal Relocate to Tiverton, Devon

Luton-based Protectaseal is set to complete its move to the Hartnoll Business Park, in Tiverton, by Christmas.

Managing director Ken Clark chose to move to Tiverton because of the combination of a better lifestyle with good transport links.

"I think the Hartnoll Business Park is a great location to be. It has good access to road, rail and air. I think that because so much of our business is exported, it doesn't matter where we are but from a supplier's point of view, we need good access which Tiverton does have," he said.

Mr Clark and his family have already moved to Tiverton and have been commuting back to Luton to run the business, along with two of its eight staff members who currently live in Devon and Cornwall.

The business will take over a 550 sq m unit at the business park, more than doubling the size of its current base.

The business makes security tapes and labels for a range of sectors including aviation, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Around 90 per cent of its products are exported to markets including America, South Africa, Europe, Russia and the Far East.

The business is looking for experienced printers.

Anyone interested should contact Protectaseal.
