About the Artists

David Shepherd CBE FRSA FGRA

David was born 25 April 1931 and is a British artist and one of the world's most outspoken conservationists. He became famous for his paintings of steam locomotives and wildlife, although he also often paints aircraft and landscapes. His work has been extremely popular since the 1960s in limited edition print reproduction and poster form, as well as other media such as Wedgwood limited edition plates. He has written five books about his art and an autobiography. David also set up the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation

Jonathan Truss - twice the Winner of BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year (Frozen Planet)

Jonathan is internationally known as one of the world's leading wildlife artists. Many of his paintings are owned by celebrities all and his paintings hang in collections from Beverley Hills to Botswana. He has held exhibitions in exclusive galleries in New York, Las Vegas, London, LA and Kenya.

Supporting the conservation of many endangered species he’s raised thousands of pounds for wildlife. He has made many TV appearances and has featured in many national and international magazines. A member of the Canadian organisation ‘Artists for Conservation’. His paintings are now sold by galleries worldwide and have sold through Christies in the United Kingdom and Sotheby’s in the United States.
