Emergency evacuation and rescue equipment

Hospital Aids

Evacuation Equipment

Our range of evacuation and rescue equipment are designed to aid in the safe removal of casualties and patients/ service users from hazardous situations such as building fires. Not only are they developed with the safety of individuals or residents in mind, but also the postural comfort of the carer. These products are quite different to most other evacuation devices, in the marketplace, such as chairs, conventional stretchers etc, as they tend to minimise the manual handling problems associated with the conventional methods used.more

Our most well-known products are the Ski Sheet, which is located permanently and unobtrusively under the mattress and is instantly available in emergency situations, and the Ski Pad, which has evolved from the familiar Ski mattress evacuation Sheet,  is used in cases where normal mattress evacuation cannot be carried out, due to narrow fire escapes and staircases.

The majority of our products are manufactured in the UK and because we produce them ourselves many can be modified. For example, if you are looking for evacuation equipment for young children, we can make smaller versions or increase the padding for people with conditions such as brittle bones. Contact us today with your specific needs.

Included in our bariatric equipment range are slide sheets, spinal boards, evacuation chairs and our own innovations the Bariatric EvacMat and EMS EvacMat specially designed to assist emergency services.
