Ballyclare Announces New Key Marketing Appointment

Ballyclare Sales and Marketing Director

Ballyclare Limited has revealed news of a major new appointment which will see the company strengthen its sales and marketing function. Roger Foster has been appointed as Sales and Marketing Director, and he joins Ballyclare after gaining considerable experience in the workwear and outerwear industry during a number of senior roles with Orbit International.

“This is a key appointment for Ballyclare, and we’re delighted to have secured the services of someone like Roger who is both highly experienced and highly regarded in the industry,” explains Ballyclare Managing Director, Carlton Greener. “Ballyclare has been making considerable progress in recent times, having launched our new ranges of Xenon firefighter clothing and Orcon workwear, and to add someone like Roger to the team makes us ideally placed to continues that success.”

“Ballyclare is widely recognised as a market-leading brand, with products that people know they can trust to do the job, so I’m delighted to become a member of the team,” adds Roger. “There were a number of things which attracted me to the company, but the most significant were the facts that Ballyclare is one of the very few workwear manufacturers that truly believes in its products, and that it really understands its customers.

“While the Ballyclare brand is particularly strong in certain areas such as the fire industry, I believe that there are many opportunities for growth waiting in some of our other existing markets such as automotive workwear. There is a lot of talent and ability within the company and that will go a long way to helping us build the brand and make it even stronger than it currently is. The workwear world presents a constantly-changing set of challenges, and I’m really looking forward to helping Ballyclare meet those challenges and continue its growth and success.”

Roger brings with him some 28 years of experience in the apparel and textile industry. He has previously worked in different roles, including territory and field sales, customer service management, national account management, marketing, supply chain and sales team directorship. His work has involved extensive international travel, and he has worked with various Government agencies to develop export business and distribution agreements across many different countries.
