Analytical Chemistry Method Development, Liquid Chromatography

ACCTA, Inc.

ACCTA, Inc. provides technical training and consulting services to all industries involved with chemical analysis, including pharmaceutical , medical device, food, and more general chemical manufacturing. Since 1993 we have been offering a range of training seminars designed for the practicing scientist. They are noted for their relevance and cost-effectiveness, and are delivered on-site for private audiences, at professional meetings, or on the internet in a webinar format. Operating from our headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota (USA), we have trained scientists from around the world, including recent visits to both Europe and Africa.more

Our consulting services focus on chromatography method development and optimization, where we are actively involved in application research. However, our project history includes numerous multi-disciplinary problem-solving challenges in areas such as process optimization, formulation development, and failure analysis. We are scientists first, and our clients come to us to benefit from our years of experience.

Analytical Chemistry Method Development

“Why does it take so long to get our test methods developed?”“Why don’t our test methods work well?”“It’s just a test method. It can’t be that hard!”

It seems so easy on television, but the truth is that a reliable, sensitive, and accurate test method requires a great deal of effort in planning, optimizing, and even writing the procedure. At ACCTA, Inc. we start by asking questions, such as what you want to test, what you want to know, who will do the testing, and how you will use the results. Having the answers to these, and several other, questions is the only way to ensure a successful result.

Then, we put our extensive technical expertise and experience in analytical chemistry method development to work on solving your problem. Our experience in many different industries gives us the ability to draw solutions from many different perspectives, giving you the best result possible within the requirements of the project. We have developed methods for environmental pollutants, herbicide formulations, residual solvents, pharmaceuticals, and metabolites. Contact us so that we can focus on your problem next.

Liquid Chromatography Training

The instruments are expensive and complex, the software is complicated, and the methods are sometimes not easy to perform. Unfortunately, our DNA does not contain the information needed to operate an HPLC by instinct alone. Operators and analysts need to be trained. A properly trained analyst knows when the instrument is performing properly, when the results might be suspect, and how to recognize that a problem exists and then troubleshoot that problem. At ACCTA, Inc. our High Performance Liquid Chromatography training courses teach all of these skills, at both basic and advanced levels.

Our years of experience in HPLC, and in training HPLC analysts, gives us a unique perspective on the teaching and learning process. Using an interactive and entertaining presentation style, we teach our students how the instruments are designed, proper operating procedures, how the instruments fail, and how to identify the problems. Some presentations can even be customized to meet your individual needs. At ACCTA, Inc. we know that “good training is your best lab instrument.”

Agilent Technologies ChemStation Training

Agilent Technologies is one of the most popular manufacturers of HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometric instruments. Their ChemStation software is installed in thousands of laboratories around the world. If you understand the software, you know that it can be easy to use. However, easy to use does not mean intuitive to learn.

We have been training ChemStation users for more than 10 years, and have the experience that few others possess. Our Agilent Technologies ChemStation training programs can be delivered at your site, at public locations, on in a webinar format on the internet. We can help you get the most value from your software and hardware investment by teaching your operators how to let the software do most of the work.less
