Auto Chassis refers to the internal framework of an artificial object, which supports the object in its construction and use. An example of a chassis is a vehicle frame, the underpart of a motor vehicle, on which the body is mounted; if the running gear such as wheels and transmission and sometimes even the drivers seat, are included, then the assembly is described as a rolling chassis. In the case of vehicles, a rolling chassis refers to the frame plus the engine, transmission, drive shaft, differential and suspension. Auto Electrical System is the system within a motor vehicle that furnishes the electrical energy to crank the engine for starting, recharge the battery after cranking, create the high-voltage sparks to fire the compressed air-fuel charges and power the headlamps light bulbs and electrical accessories. The vehicle electrical system includes the battery, wiring, starting motor and controls, generator and voltage regulator, electronic ignition and electronic fuel metering. Car Fuel Systems are the systems in which a car is able to move fuel around within it - allowing the fuel to reach its destination. The main component of this system is the fuel tank, which is a safe container for flammable fluids. Though any storage tank for fuel may be so called, the term is typically applied to part of an engine system, in which the fuel is stored and propelled or released into an engine. Fuel tanks range in side and complexity from the small plastic tank of a butane lighter to the multi-chambered cryogenic space shuttle external tank.
Clutch is a mechanical device which engages and disengages power transmission especially from driving shaft to driven shaft. In the simplest application, clutches connect and disconnect two rotating shafts. In these devices, one shaft is typically attached to an engine or other power unit while the other shaft provides output power for work. While typically the motions involved are rotary, linear clutches are also possible. In a torque controlled drill, for instance, one shaft is driven by a motor and the other drives a drill chuck. The clutch connects the two shafts so they may be locked together and spin at the same speed, locked together but spinning at different speeds or unlocking and spinning at different speeds.
Suspension System in a motor vehicle includes items such as the tires, tire air, springs, shock absorbers and linkages that connects a vehicle to its wheels and allows relative motion between the two. Suspension systems must support both roadholding/handling and ride quality, which are at odds with each other. The tuning of suspensions involves finding the right compromise. It is important for the suspension to keep the road wheel in contact with the road surface as much as possible, because all the road or ground forces acting on the vehicle do so through the contact patches of the tires.
Automotive valves refer to the valves that are resent within the makeup and assembly of an automotive vehicle. These valves serve several different functions that allow a vehicle to run safely and smoothly. Valves are particularly prominent in the engine of the vehicle, the most common of which is the poppet valve. These are typically used to control the timing and quantity of gas or vapour to flow into an engine.
