Airport Cleaning Services
In an airport environment high volumes of people pass through the terminals 24 hours a day. In an environment where anything can happen you need to be confident that the team supplying your airport cleaning services are efficient, reliable and able to cope with all the challenges they may face. OCS have a great deal of experience in providing high quality cleaning and support services and their services are utilised in airports throughout the world.
To ensure high quality service is maintained all OCS staff receive relevant ‘on the job’ training and where appropriate are trained up to NVQ level in customer care. For added peace of mind all staff working airside are required to undergo a security CRC check.
OCS have over 40 years of experience in the aviation cleaning industry and have developed the ability to consistently work at a high standard. For each task we work quickly, thoroughly and use the appropriate cleaning specifications. We work this way because we understand the importance of ensuring an aircraft takes off on time and in pristine condition. We are very proud to have been the first company in the UK with the capability to clean the Airbus A380. While working for Singapore Airlines we developed a tailored aircraft cleaning solution for them which allowed our small teams to work with 'military precision'.
We understand that aircraft can arrive late, but we always strive for a quick turn around time and will not compromise on the quality of our cleaning services. Everyone at OCS understands this philosophy and all staff are experienced and fully able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Some of the details of our service includes replacing all passenger comforts such as blankets and headrest covers. These items can then be cleaned by us using our specialised aviation laundry service. We are also able to provide toilet and portable water services and at Heathrow we are even equipped to clean the outside windscreens of the aircraft.
Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM)
OCS are trusted by airport and airline operators to ensure the transit of their passengers is easy and hassle free at some of the world's busiest airports. Our passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) service is of the highest quality and as such our OCS branded wheelchairs have become a symbol of the service all over the world.
To ensure all passengers receive the best service our staff are NVQ trained in customer service and are also given disability confidence training.
When sourcing our equipment for the safe, comfortable and dignified transfer of passengers with reduced mobility we talk to the people who know best, our staff, they have the experience and knowledge to give advice on what equipment is suitable for each task. The equipment we use includes - wheelchairs, buggies, aisle chairs, ambi-lifts and transfer assistance equipment.
All equipment we use adheres to all local and national regulations, airport requirements and national security regulations.
Passengers are able to choose from a massive range of airlines and class of travel and as such have certain expectations when it comes to the comfort and cleanliness of an aircraft. OCS are able to provide aviation laundry services to airlines whether they are large or small, 365 days a year. When combined with the aircraft cleaning services from OCS, airlines can have a complete end to end solution.
With more than 20 years of experience of aviation laundry services OCS have developed a fast and efficient service. In 24 hours OCS are able to collect a variety of cabin, catering and lounge items from airside and landside locations and launder them to the highest standard. The items are then ironed, folded, packed and returned ready for use. OCS are continually investing in their equipment and personnel and as such are able to efficiently launder bedding, headrest covers, blankets, sleep suits, bath-robes, towels, napkins, tablecloths, tray-liners and oven gloves whilst controlling and monitoring the environmental impact of the process.
Aviation Security Services
To perform effective aviation security services, a great deal of experience and expertise is required. OCS employ security staff who possess these qualities as well as security experts who can advise on legislation and airport regulations.
Our security staff all have to undergo a Counter Terrorism Check and a comprehensive training scheme to ensure they are effective and efficient security personnel whilst maintaining a high level of sensitivity towards passengers and crew.
The security services offered by OCS include baggage and cargo screening, secure searching, passenger profiling, document verification and ID unit management.
